Please find a magnificent lamp base/vase . The piece is signed by Raymond Rushton and has a very detailed painting of Barnard Castle. I believe it is a lamp base because of the holes in the top and bottom and what looks to be a cord hole in the base. It comes with a small top that is removable that makes it also double as a vase which is more practical. It stands a whopping 40cm tall with the little top on. It also weighs well over a kilo which will make the postage pretty expensive. It does have some cracks on the base that originate from the cord hole that has been drilled. I have put photos of these from the top and the bottom. The rest of the piece is is superb condition. The painting is crisp and a delight to look at. This is certainly the best Rushton piece I have owned. The piece is dated to 1951.This  would make a great addition to any collection. Please see my other pieces that I am listing. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
