Nice old violin possibly french-made in an okay condition, the varnish has a nice brown tone with a well sculpted scroll, just has varnish chips from
the old age I am guessing.

The label reads '' CHARLES GAILLARD Rue Notre Dame de Rouvrance N°30 Paris, 1877 ''

This violin would eventually need strings and a bridge to be played (soundpost inside.. just needs to be put in place.)

I have inspected the violin the best I can and have notified any visible defaults in the description as honestly as possible.

Lots of questions about this violin, just to clear some things up

There are no cracks on this violin, just needs a good cleaning, and yes it is missing a fingerboard.

Best regards.
